Summer Lovin'

I can't believe it is already the end of May. With two months left, I plan on getting my fill and wearing all of my summer statement pieces. What I am loving right now includes bright heels, bright jeans, bright .. EVERYTHING!! However, white is also a favorite in summer and looks amazing with a statement shoe. Get moving ladies while it is still hot out!!

Keep Rockin Keep Knockin Whether you Louboutin in it up or Reebokin

Shoes. I am an addict. That is the first step, admitting it. There is something about a unique, well constructed, high heel that I just can not resist. Honestly, I believe that if you wore the same outfit every day for a week but changed shoes, nobody would notice. And as well all know, no matter what size we are, or become, are shoes still fit. Now, I am going to let you in on another little secret someone passed along to me. There is a website, that you can join for FREE, you take a style quiz, and then at the beginning of every month stylists pull several shoes for you to choose from. At this point, you decide if you would like to purchase any (the cost for every and any shoe is $39.99 and there is free shipping). Now you are not charged anything until you make your first purchase. After you do make a purchase, you are considered a member. Which leads me into a minor, slight, drawback. If the next month, you don't have the cash to spend on a pair of shoes or an accessory (yes, they also have purses) then you have to opt out of that month meaning you have to MAKE SURE to go on and click something on the website so that your credit card does not get charged. Now let's get down to real business... the website I am referring to is www.shoedazzle.com I'm sure you have heard of it before, it features stylists such as Kim Kardashian, Anya Sarre, Provi Fulp, Heather Zweigel, Melis Kuris, Mal Pearson, and Merika Rock. I just joined in May and haven't purchased anything yet, simply because what I wanted was out of stock. However, let me tell you I am in heaven people. $39.99 for a pair of heels is a steal.

Rumor Has It ....

Who doesn't love handbags?? They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, patterns, AND they make a statement when added to an outfit. So what's the problem? Well, a lot of quality handbags are expensive.... and not just hundreds of dollars expensive, we're talking thousands. I'm not sure I would every drop thousands on a purse but more power to the people who can. For the rest of us, we have to find quality bags that will last without dropping major dinero. There is a brand that I have come to love the past couple of years and I'm going to share my hidden secret gem with all of you. Melie Bianco bags are priced right and are quality bags that last. I've bought a couple of pieces here and there and keep going back for more. If you log on to the website, you will notice when you click the Press tab that Melie Bianco bags have been featured in a ton of magazines and recently, Rachel Zoe (fashion guru) featured one of Melie's bags on her blog. If you are thinking about splurging for a new bag, I urge you to check out the website::

Get Up, Pack it In, Let Me Begin.. Jump Around

Gucci 2011 Runway Look

Louis Vuitton 2011 Runway Look
Can't Afford these... Keep reading ! !

I have fabulous news! There is one outfit this season that is going to change everything. It is the pant jumpsuit. Ladies, you know it usually takes us about 45minutes to an hour to choose and finally decide what exactly we are going to wear. We pick a top then we pick a skirt, pants, shorts, then shoes, then we have to decide on jewelry and a clutch. I mean, why do guys think this is easy??? It's tough, especially when you have an idea in mind of how you want to look and your plan slowly starts to crumble. I normally have a panic attack and melt down at this point. Then, I start from the bottom up and allow my shoes to pick my outfit. BUT this summer there is a game changer. It is the pant jumpsuit!!!! It is pants and a top in one. Seriously, that means that in 5 minutes you have your whole outfit. All that is left for you to do is pick cute wedges or heels, jewelry and your on your way. Everybody will be shocked when, instead of taking 45 minutes, it takes you a half hour! hahaha Jumpsuits were on the runways this spring at Louis Vuitton and Gucci but I don't have the pocketbook to splurge on those. However, some of our favorite stores have pant jumpsuits that are just as adorable. I just made my summer purchase at H & M and guess how much it cost me, $15.00!!! Yes, only $15.00. Seriously a WHOLE outfit for less than twenty dollars. I was in heaven. Take a look at the amazing finds below from Forever 21:

When We're Dancing on the Floor.... I Want More

March 13 * *
I've mentioned this before, how amazing it is when high end designers partner with department stores. A lot of our favorites have partnered with Target and guess what??? They're back!!!! Celebrating the five year anniversary of the Go International Program, Target is bringing back collaborations featuring 34 dresses from 17 of the past collaborating designers. Prices will range from $24.99-$44.99. The limited edition dresses will be featured by Alice Temperely, Tracy Feith, Zac Posen, Thakoon, Paul and Joe, Rodarte, and many more. The collection will be available at select Target stores from ... you guessed it... today March 13-April 10, 2011. For more information, check out the Target pressroom's website: http://pressroom.target.com/pr/news/target-celebrates-five-years-of-go-international.aspx

the Locusts sang such a Sweet Melody

I have to admit something to all of you. I am a true hippie at heart. If I could move to a field full of sunflowers, not wear any shoes at all, and eat off the land, I would. But those times have past so we have to make due with what we got. I seem to rekindle the hippie in me when spring time comes back to find us. With the warm sun beating down, the flowers blooming, and birds chirping (bob dylan singing in the background) it just doesn't get any better than that. Switching out my wardrobe is definitely my favorite activity to partake in. As I search through my shoes and clothes, I realize that there are so many pieces from last year that are going to be huge hits this year. Wedge sandals, flares, crop tops, neon brights, floral prints: don't worry if you find yourself asking when the last time you bought flares was. that's the best thing about fashion. season pieces like these should not set you back financially. because guess what, next spring they most likely won't be in anymore. you can get a great pair of wedge sandals from target. flares from wet seal. crop tops from forever 21. neon brights from express. floral prints from belk. I would not spend more than $30-$40 dollars on any of these. Anyways, I am dedicating my creation . . . posted below . . . to wedges and neutrals. That's right. Neutrals are VERY much in for spring. Khaki, cream, and white anything also need to make an appearance in your closet. My goal for this spring is to wear a complete neutral outfit. I'm talking neutral top and pants. to me that just spells Chic. and what will i pair this unborn outfit with... Wedges of course. wedges are amazing because they are comfortable and can be worn in a casual way or a dressy way. It's difficult to dress stilletos down, let me tell you. but it is soooooo simple to dress down wedges. Instead of wearing them with a skirt or khakis, pair them with jeans and a t-shirt. put on some jewelry and you have a completely different look.
if you are looking for me, i'm laying in the flowers.
